  • Minimum Energy Star Rating 14.5-14.99 SEER - $400 per unit
  • Energy Star Rating of 15.0-15.99R SEER - $500 per unit
  • *Energy Star Rating16.0 or greater SEER - $600 per unit

The above rebates are for all units installed onto our system, regardless if new or replacement load.

Geothermal Heat Pumps Rebate

The system must meet, be equal to or greater than, the energy efficiency Energy Star specifications of:

  • Open loop - COP of 3.6, EER of 16.2
  • Closed loop - COP of 3.3, EER of 14.1
  • Direct Expansion - COP of 3.5, EER of 15.0
  • Rebate amount - $1,800 per unit
  • Desuperheater installed - Add an additional $200 per unit

This geothermal heat pump rebate is for all units installed onto our system, regardless if new or replacement load.

Central Air Conditioner Rebate

We encourage air source heat pumps to be installed for greater efficiencies, but for those members choosing to install or replace their central air conditioners, the following rebates will apply:

  • Minimum Energy Star Rating 14.5 to 14.99SEER - $100 per unit
  • *Energy Star Rating of 15.0-15.99R SEER - $150 per unit
  • *Energy Star Rating of 16.0 or greater SEER - $200 per unit

Window/Portable Air Conditioner Rebate

  • The installed unit must be an Energy Star rated unit. - $25 per unit

We will need an invoice showing the unit purchased and that it is indeed an Energy Star Unit.

We will continue selling them directly to our members. The rebate is subtracted from the sale price. See the information directly below.

Electric Appliances Rebate

Each member-consumer is limited to a maximum of $250 in combined appliance rebates.

  • Clothes washer - $50 per unit
  • Refrigerator - $25 per unit
  • Freeze - $25 per unit
  • Dishwasher - $25 per unit

Building Insulation Rebate

The building must have a primary electric heating source *It must be professionally installed by a registered contractor for blown-in, insulating concrete forms, rigid styrofoam panels and/or structural insulated panels type insulation *Rebate limited to 30% of installed insulation cost up to a maximum rebate of $500 per building

"Pull the Plug" Disposal Program

Pull the plug program

Our members who want to dispose of a refrigerator, freezer, or window air conditioner may contact us to have their old, in working condition, and empty appliance picked up at their home free of charge. The old appliance must be outside of the house upon pickup and will be disposed of properly. The member will receive a $25 rebate per appliance (up to 3 appliances per member, per year) for "pulling the plug" on that old appliance.

Lighting Rebate

  • For commercial, industrial, or agricultural buildings of livestock confinement
  • For new or existing buildings
  • Must be a minimum of 500 watts to qualify for a rebate

Compact Fluorescent Bulbs, T-8 or T-5 Fluorescent Tubes - $100 per kw

Reduced wattage metal halide low ballast lamps - $25 per kw

Variable Speed and Soft Start Motors Rebate

  • For commercial, industrial, or agricultural buildings
  • For new or existing applications

Replacement motors with variable speed or soft start device - $40 per horsepower

Lighting and Motor Rebate Programs will run until an allotted amount of monies runs out. Be sure to call before submitting a rebate to make sure there is still money left in this account.
