in our Ida Grove Service Center

North West REC is currently looking for a full-time journeyman power line worker for our Ida Grove Service Center. North West REC is a rapidly growing rural electric cooperative in a progressive community with numerous amenities.

​

The successful applicant must have a degree in power line training from a technical college. Duties will include the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution lines. Applicants should be able to operate basket trucks, digger derricks, and related equipment. Position requires heavy lifting, climbing, and other strenuous activities. A Class A CDL is required. An excellent benefit package is available. EOE.
